Adoptive Health Services
Pediatrics of Akron offers both pre and post-adoptive services for both domestic and international adoption. We offer a wide range of services to prepare parents and families for an upcoming adoption including a pre-adoptive consultation. Getting Acquainted
Please feel free to call our office if you have additional questions about us. Or, if you prefer, call today to schedule a prenatal, "get acquainted" tour. During the tour, we will review our practice philosophy, discuss our varied services and further answer any further questions you may have about Pediatrics of Akron. Please call (330) 253-7077 to schedule a get-acquainted tour in our Akron office, or (330) 920-8333 in our Cuyahoga Falls office.
Upon Arrival
When your baby is born at an affiliated hospital,(Summa Health System or Akron General Medical Center) simply tell your obstetrician and the hospital staff that you have chosen Pediatrics of Akron as your child's pediatrician. Our office will be notified of your baby's birth by the hospital staff. A pediatrician from Pediatrics of Akron will then see your baby in the nursery daily at the birth hospital. Upon discharge, please contact our office about scheduling your baby's first visit to our office.
