Robert Sobieski, MD
Dr. Robert Sobieski has been a pediatrician in the Akron area for over 40 years. He is one of the senior members of Pediatrics of Akron. He is a graduate of St. Louis University College of Medicine and completed his residency at Akron Children's Hospital. He enjoys the practice of general pediatrics.
William H. Ginther, MD
Dr. William Ginther has been a practicing pediatrician in Akron for over 25 years. He is a graduate of Hoover High School, Princeton University, and The Ohio State University College of Medicine. He did his pediatric residency at Brown University. He has served as Chief of Pediatrics at Akron General Medical Center and as the medical advisor for the NEO Chapter of the National SIDS Foundation. He is board certified in pediatrics.
Rajneesh Jain, MD
Dr. Rajneesh Jain received his medical degree at Gandhi Medical College in India. After coming to the United States, he completed an additional residency in Pediatrics at the Cleveland Clinic. He is board certified in pediatrics and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. Special interests include early childhood growth and development, childhood asthma/allergies and infectious diseases. He is an avid trail runner, outdoor enthusiast and father of two boys.
James B. Pettay, MD
Dr. James Pettay has been a practicing pediatrician at POA since 2003. He grew up in Massillon, Ohio. He is a Graduate of The Ohio State University and completed his residency at the Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. He is board certified in pediatrics. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor at NEOUCOM. He enjoys the practice of general pediatrics. Dr Pettay has been married to his wife, Kim, for over 20 years and they have two boys. He enjoys reading, travel and still manages to play basketball when he can.
Martin A. Cochran, MD
Dr. Martin Cochran grew up in Tallmadge, Ohio. He is a graduate of NEOUCOM, fulfilled a three-year residency in pediatrics at Akron Children's Hospital and served as Chief Resident during his fourth year of training. He is a board certified pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). Dr. Cochran is also an Assistant Professor at Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. He enjoys the practice of general pediatrics. He also enjoys reading, running and spending time with his family.
Julie C. Smith, MD
Dr. Smith joins us after completing her residency at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. Dr. Smith graduated from The Ohio State University and received her medical education at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. She will be seeing patients in both the Akron and Cuyahoga Falls offices. She resides in Tallmadge with her husband Adam and her daughter Sarah. In her spare time Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with her family, running, fishing and scrapbooking.
Christine M. Sadinski, MSN, RN, CNP
Chris Sadinski RN, CNP is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Kent State University and is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. Chris is currently seeing patients at both Pediatric of Akron locations. Chris joined the staff at Pediatrics of Akron in 1997 after working at Children's Hospital Medical Center of Akron. Chris lives in Tallmadge, Ohio. In her spare time she enjoys water sports, live theater and traveling.
Kelly E. Stewart, MSN, RN, CNP
Kelly Stewart RN, CNP is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She received her Bachelor's Degree from Cleveland State University and her Master's Degree from Kent State University and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Kelly will be seeing patients at both Pediatric of Akron locations. She worked as a registered nurse at MetroHealth Medical Center from 2009-2016. Kelly lives in Cleveland and enjoys spending time with her husband and two dogs, traveling, and going to country music concerts.
